About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at Resolute Forest Products Canada Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing requirements, from recruitment to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, and manage the entire hiring process, including job posting, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Employee Onboarding: Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into their roles.
  • HR Operations: Manage HR-related duties, such as personnel selection, training, and performance management.
  • Advisory Services: Provide expert advice to managers and employees on staffing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition and management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices; excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
