Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly recurring journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of our financial records.
  • Perform accurate and timely billings of product sales to customers, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Perform daily inventory balancing activities for assigned terminals and inventory locations to ensure that our inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process inventory purchase invoices for payment, ensuring that all transactions are properly authorized and recorded.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Tax, Operations to ensure that inventory movements are accurately reported and reflected in our financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly/annual audit and tax support, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Perform user acceptance testing for changes/enhancements to ERP systems to ensure that they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, as required, to provide insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel, to perform financial analysis and reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Pursuing or currently hold the CPA designation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or inventory.
