Job Description

This course is an introduction to ubiquitous sensing systems for intelligently coordinated and efficient cities and spaces. The primary focus will be on smart cities sensing, reliable sensory data acquisition, and security and privacy in smart city sensing systems.

Course Overview

The course will cover three primary foci: smart cities sensing, reliable sensory data acquisition, and security and privacy in smart city sensing systems. Topics will include sensor and actuator networks for smart cities, software-defined Internet of Things, vehicular sensing, social sensing, opportunistic and participatory sensing solutions, sensing as a service, and security and privacy assurance in smart city services using artificial intelligence methods.

Requirements

Excellente connaissance du contenu du cours, démontrée par l'enseignement de cours similaires, ou par expérience d'emploi pertinente. Les candidats doivent être licenciés en tant qu'ingénieur professionnel. Postulants réguliers doivent avoir obtenu un doctorat et il devrait être obtenu dans un domaine pertinent à la matière du cours, particulièrement quand le cours soit plus spécialisé (ou expérience du travail dans un domaine relié après avoir obtenu leur doctorat).

Additional Information

Il est exigé que le professeur à temps partiel qui enseigne ce cours assiste aux tutoriels, au moins une heure par semaine (en moyenne). En contrepartie, ce contrat inclut un paiement de 52 heures (au lieu des 39 heures habituelles).
