About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team at IFG International Financial Group Ltd. In this contract role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support in building plans to prevent financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate financial crime risks;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive plans;
  • Provide training and education to colleagues on financial crime prevention best practices;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a consulting role or equivalent in commercial or wealth management;
  • Proven expertise in building plans to prevent financial crime;
  • A strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the banking industry, particularly in AML;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience;
  • The opportunity to work with a top banking client in Canada;
  • A hybrid work arrangement with in-office days on Wednesdays and every third Friday of the month;
