**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Specialist to join our team at TD. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and protecting our customers from financial crime.
Job Summary:
The Financial Crime Specialist will be responsible for identifying and mitigating financial crime risks, including money laundering and terrorist financing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary procedures are in place to prevent and detect financial crime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate Suspicious Transactions: Review and analyze transactions that have been flagged as suspicious, working with internal stakeholders to gather information and make recommendations for further action.
- Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop strategies to mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective.
- Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to help employees understand their roles and responsibilities in preventing and detecting financial crime.
- Maintain Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that all activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in financial crime prevention or risk management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
TD offers a competitive salary range of $52,700 - $74,400 CAD per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
