About the Role
EPCOR Utilities Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor, Environment to join their Wastewater Collection Operations team in Edmonton, AB.

Job Summary:
This professional-level position works closely with various stakeholders to provide environmental management support and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on environmental management principles, including environmental releases, field monitoring, data interpretation, and environmental aspects/impacts assessment.
- Lead or participate in environmental incident investigations, including confidential interviews and writing summary reports.
- Review and communicate changes to regulations, industry best practices, and EPCOR's performance for continual improvement of policies, programs, and systems.
- Ensure capital and operations projects consider environmental compliance obligations, aspects, and impacts during project delivery and operations.

Requirements:
- Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Management from a recognized post-secondary educational institute.
- Membership with a regulated professional body such as P.Biol, P.Ag., or P.T.Ag.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in biophysical assessment and surveys, wildlife surveys and monitoring, wetland and watercourse assessment, environmental planning, permitting, approvals, and regulatory notifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental legislation, regulations, codes, bylaws, and guidance documents.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and project management experience.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operators License.
