Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Alpine Irrigation. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, applying fertilizers, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and maintenance tasks
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
  • Cut grass and maintain lawn areas
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from outdoor spaces
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our landscapes
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Will train on the job
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer with Alpine Irrigation, you will work in a variety of outdoor settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to the elements.
