We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced University Professor to join our team at the University of Waterloo. As a University Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research in your field of specialization, and contributing to the academic community through service and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach one or more university subjects and develop curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Conduct research in your field of specialization and publish your findings in academic journals
- Advise students on course and academic matters and career decisions
- Conduct laboratory sessions and seminars, and direct research programs of graduate students
- Perform administrative tasks and serve on faculty committees dealing with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in academia
