We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Director who will play a key role in ensuring that safe, efficient, and functional facilities are made available to our partners and users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership of building maintenance services for approximately 200 facilities under the department's purview.

This includes a combination of managerial, technical resource, and field oversight roles.

Your extensive background in building maintenance and construction will support successful planning, repairs and maintenance, and contract management to enable reliable facility operating conditions.

You will develop and manage budgets, collect, analyze, and report relevant data and trends.

You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring trade staff and your support staff to ensure a respectful work environment that fosters growth, customer service, and teamwork.

You will provide guidance on Preventative Maintenance plans and oversee building maintenance responsibilities as outlined in service agreements.

You will also manage annual inspections and certifications related to regulatory building system compliance and be responsible for managing Building Management Systems (BMS) to support the functionality and overall operations of our building assets.

You will review and promote safe work practices and ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.

You will manage maintenance KPIs and integrate performance metrics in the delivery of our team's maintenance services.

You will balance the workload between our internal trade staff and service contractors to optimize resource deployment and effectiveness.

You will manage service contracts and vendor relationships, as well as oversee work coordination and support effective stakeholder communications.

You will review and set performance expectations for maintenance staff and external service providers to maintain quality and support excellent customer service.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
