Machinist Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team at 3vimatech Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to repair machine tools and parts, set up and adjust production machineries/tools, and fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
• Repair machine tools and parts
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
• Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
• Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments
• Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports
• Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
• Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
• Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, performing repetitive tasks that require attention to detail. The role requires standing for extended periods and may involve overtime.

Requirements:

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
• Permanent employment
• English as the primary language of communication
• 35 hours per week
