Project Manager

Fengate Asset Management is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Oakville. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for delivering various Corporate Services and business unit initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage assigned projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful scope definition, project schedule, and work breakdown construction. You will work closely with project sponsors to define project scope, develop project implementation plans, and facilitate effective project meetings with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project teams by facilitating problem-solving discussions, driving resolution of risks, issues, and action items, and escalating when necessary.
- Reporting project status to all project stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
- Responsible for the successful delivery and close-out of assigned projects.
- Facilitating and documenting End User Testing, working with various stakeholders to receive sign-off on an implementation.
- Working with vendors or third-party groups, advocating and negotiating on behalf of Fengate and the project sponsor.
Requirements:
- PMP designation is required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, as the lead project manager throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Proven ability in creating project implementation plans, developing schedules, managing resource capacity, and project reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and facilitate stakeholder and project team collaboration to achieve quality deliverables.
- Expert understanding of waterfall and agile project management practices, knowledgeable of software development life cycle, and the ability to blend them together to fit the needs of individual projects and/or business objectives.
