Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bakery Assistant to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a Bakery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our bakery department, including receiving and stocking inventory, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory, including bakery supplies and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bakery area and surrounding stockroom
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
- Assist with preparing and packaging baked goods for sale
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with frequent lifting and standing required.
