About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate execution.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) (AOC) to meet production demands.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Experience with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux core arc welding (FCAW) techniques.
  • Ability to work with steel, iron, and heavy metals.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
