Wound Care Specialist

Are you a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse or licensed practical nurse looking for a new challenge in your career? We are seeking an experienced Foot Care Nurse to join our team at CBI Health Group.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will involve providing high-quality foot care services to clients who require assistance with daily living activities. As a Foot Care Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of our clients.
Responsibilities- Provide Foot Care Services: Conduct foot care clinics and visits according to established standards of practice, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients.
- Co-ordinate Supplies and Equipment: Secure, set up, and maintain all necessary supplies and equipment for foot care clinics and visits.
- Maintain Client Documentation: Create and update client documentation in accordance with established guidelines, including evaluation data and treatment plans.
- Teach and Educate: Provide education on foot care-related topics to clients and their families, promoting independence and self-management.
- Determine Advanced Interventions: Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans, implementing advanced foot care nursing interventions as required.
- Safety and Protection: Identify potential hazards in the environment and take steps to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
- Registration: Be a registered member in good standing with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses (SALPN).
- Certification: Hold the Advanced Foot Care Certificate (Heel Your Sole in Saskatchewan) and be licensed by a provincial or territorial governing body.
- Experience: Possess proven experience in Public Health/Community Nursing, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliable Transportation: Have access to a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
