Veterinary Client Service Representative

Salary InformationThe hourly rate for this position is $22.06 - $24.84 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a stable income in a dynamic environment.
Job DescriptionAs a Client Services Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing a warm welcome to clients and visitors through various communication channels
- Scheduling, admitting, and discharging patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensuring accurate invoicing and handling of payments
In addition to the above duties, you will also be responsible for:
- Working in multiple client service areas, including Companion Animal Hospital, Animal Cancer Centre, and Large Animal Hospital
- Being cross-trained to work in technical and non-technical areas within the hospital
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A one-year diploma in Veterinary Office Administration or Medical Office Administration, or equivalent experience
- A working knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in scheduling availability, including evenings and weekends
