Mental Health Case Coordinator Nurse

About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the Powell River Mental Health team as a Mental Health & Addictions Case Coordinator Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary mental health and addictions care team to provide treatment and case management services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues to provide appropriate treatment services.
- Perform key duties such as intake, mental health assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, consultation, individual counseling, education, and support groups.
About the Team
The Powell River Mental Health team provides a range of services to individuals with mental health issues, including assessment, treatment, and support.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Two years' recent related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health issues.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
