Job Summary:

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Assistant to join a leading Vancouver boutique law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and administrative law, with a proven track record of handling complex disputes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the senior partners of the firm in handling a sizeable file load, including complex commercial disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, franchise disputes, construction disputes, product liability matters, securities litigation, and class action matters. The role will also involve working on various administrative/public law matters, acting for and against government and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior partners in handling complex commercial disputes, including shareholder and partnership disputes, franchise disputes, construction disputes, product liability matters, securities litigation, and class action matters.
  • Work on various administrative/public law matters, acting for and against government and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the preparation of court documents and other legal materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in commercial litigation and administrative law, and apply this knowledge to support the firm's clients.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience with commercial litigation/administrative law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
