Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Peter J Smulders. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Wash and polish floors, as well as clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work
  • Attention to detail, punctuality, and client focus
  • Uniform provided
Work Environment:

Our clients' homes are non-smoking environments, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work.

Security and Safety:

We require a criminal record check and bondability for this position.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and initiative. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.
