Project Engineer - Aerospace Systems

Aviya Aerospace Systems is a leading provider of engineering services and solutions for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario and Longueuil, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute technical solutions for aerospace engineering projects, including concept definition, requirement development, architecture design, implementation, verification, and validation.
  • Lead and manage project schedules, outcomes, and budgets from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Communicate project requirements and updates to engineering managers, project managers, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering groups, program managers, and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain resource usage metrics and project deliverables.
  • Lead new development requirements and support new engine programs and service enablement.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement best practices and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, with certification in Project Management.
  • 3-5 years of technical experience in project engineering, with a focus on aerospace systems, software design, and development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations.
  • Expertise in engine control systems and requirement writing.
  • Understanding of Internet of Things connectivity and configuration management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
