Data Entry Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the insurance industry. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the AML compliance team by gathering and organizing data using Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the AML compliance operations group by assisting with data gathering and organization across multiple business areas.
  • Collaborate with the data analysis team to receive and manage case work.
  • Pull and organize data using Excel and Word to support AML processes.
  • Perform standard data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with team production standards.
  • Record data from one source to another while inspecting for completeness, accuracy, and potential issues in processing.
  • Complete repetitive data tasks with precision, adhering to minimum production and accuracy standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Recent graduates with strong tech skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in the banking or insurance industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with AML industry practices is preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including mail merging, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, particularly mail merging.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and job aids with strong reading comprehension.
  • Team player capable of collaborating with and assisting colleagues as needed.
