We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance / Grounds Maintenance Professional to oversee maintenance and repair programs for our seniors' care home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform and supervise tasks like carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Handle specialized cleaning and maintenance, including high-altitude tasks.
Qualifications:
· Must have: Valid Building Operator A or B or New 5th Class Certificate, with at least three years of relevant experience.
· Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of local building codes.
· Proficiency with tools and equipment for various maintenance tasks.
· Excellent communication, organizational skills, and emotional stability.
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions and perform heavy lifting.
