About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at PLATO. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and defining IT requirements and ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of current systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop functional specifications, user stories, and process maps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of solutions.
  • Perform gap analysis and provide post-implementation support.
  • Support project managers in project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring delivery within scope and timelines.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and coordinate rollout of new systems and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+) as Business Analyst or similar role in client projects in technology.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques.
  • Experience working with government would be preferred.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Jira, Trello, Miro, DevOps, etc.
  • Relevant certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, adaptive to change, strong inclination to continuous learning.
  • Believes in coaching and mentoring team members wherever needed.
