About the Role

This contract, full-time (40 hours/week) Community Disability Worker position requires shift work, including weekends. The successful candidate will be skilled in providing personal care, supporting persons with developmental disabilities, supporting mental health challenges and implementing programs tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality supports to adults with developmental disabilities who live in the community
  • Assist with daily living activities and social events, promoting dignity, independence, and empowerment
  • Be a role model for adults with developmental disabilities, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
