Key Responsibilities- Design and Construction: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and ensure that all construction projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Material Selection and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, and fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including commercial and industrial establishments.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with varying locations and work settings, including renovation and commercial projects.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
