Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various patient care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering first aid in emergency situations.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as serving meal trays, feeding patients, and making beds.
  • Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Administer bedside and personal care, as well as coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check

Work Environment:

As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to lift, bend, and kneel, and may be exposed to physically demanding situations.
