About the Role

GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support our logistics operations.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Operational Planning: Establish work schedules and procedures, and plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
