Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as required.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in transportation logistics.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
