About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nanny to join our team at Vo's Family. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children.

Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging educational activities to promote cognitive and social development
    • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks to ensure the children's dietary needs are met
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
  • Logistics and Transportation
    • Transport the children to and from school, as well as to appointments and activities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in initiatives that support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our community
    • Assist with settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and childcare
  • Support for Youths
    • Participate in programs that support youth employment and development
    • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to young individuals
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in initiatives that promote cultural competency and awareness
    • Facilitate access to Elders and community resources for Indigenous workers
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a permanent, full-time capacity, with a guaranteed 36-40 hours per week
    • Collaborate with our team to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in childcare or a related field (an asset)
Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
