Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Naomi Hauptman. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary position, requiring a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and at least one year of experience in a related field. Fluency in English or French is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with bathing and other personal hygiene tasks
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals for clients
Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Fluency in English or French
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. The work setting is in an urban area, with a focus on providing care in the client's home.
