We are seeking an experienced Network Security Coordinator to join our team at Amico Affiliates. This critical role involves protecting our network infrastructure from potential cybersecurity threats.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive network security policies and procedures.
  • Utilize industry-leading software to monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and resolve security issues.
  • Design and implement robust firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus programs.
Security Incident Management
  • Rapidly respond to security incidents, including data breaches and cyber attacks.
  • Document and report all security incidents, including the steps taken to resolve them and the outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of security incident response procedures and ensure they are up-to-date.
User Education and Awareness
  • Deliver regular training sessions for employees on network security best practices and policies.
  • Develop and deploy advanced phishing email testing and training programs.
  • Create and disseminate educational materials to inform employees about cybersecurity threats.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to identify and address security needs.
  • Effectively communicate security policies and procedures to all employees.
  • Nurture strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of outsourced services.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and possess 3-5 years of experience in network security or a related IT role.
