At Amico Affiliates, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves safeguarding sensitive data, preventing unauthorized access, and mitigating potential cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive network security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats using chosen software.
  • Provide regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and resolve security issues.
  • Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus programs.
Incident Response
  • Respond to security incidents, including data breaches and cyber attacks, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document and report all security incidents, including the steps taken to resolve them and the outcomes.
  • Maintain the process for managing incident response and ensuring the plan is up-to-date to handle future security incidents.
User Training and Awareness
  • Conduct regular training sessions for employees on network security best practices and policies.
  • Develop, test, and provide subsequent training for phishing emails.
  • Develop and distribute educational materials to raise awareness about cybersecurity threats.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to identify and address security needs.
  • Communicate security policies and procedures effectively to all employees.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of outsourced services.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in network security or a related IT role.
