Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and performing various tasks related to food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Package take-out food for customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
Requirements
  • Reliability and dependability to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
