Handyman Maintenance and Repair Specialist

Benefits and Compensation
The salary range for this position is $25 to $32 per hour, depending on your experience as a professional handyman and your skills in home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and drywall.
As a handyman with Mr. Handyman, you will receive a new van, fuel, business credit card, uniforms, paid holidays and vacations, and bonus and incentive opportunities.

Your Responsibilities
- Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project lengths ranging from two hours to two days.
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and managing expectations about the scope of work and costs.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating long-term relationships with customers.
- Self-managing and working independently, with occasional collaboration with other team members.
- Providing excellent customer service, asking for reviews, and collecting payments.
- Using technology and necessary tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Documenting jobs and following our process, the Mr. Handyman Way.
- Wearing proper PPE and booties to protect customers' homes.
Requirements
- Live within the area and be able to commute to job sites.
- Have at least 8 years of experience as a paid handyman.
- Own your own tools and be able to use technology.
- Be insurable for driving our vehicle and pass a background and driving record check.
- Able to lift 20 kilograms independently and work safely at heights.
- Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle.
