About the Role:

The Detailer is a key member of our team at Boyd Autobody & Glass, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle detailing. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-wash and detail vehicles to ensure a positive first impression for customers
  • Clean and maintain the exterior and interior of vehicles, including polishing, buffing, and waxing
  • Inspect vehicles for deficiencies and advise production supervisors as needed
  • Ensure all required line items are completed to meet Assured's quality standards
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, including sweeping and emptying garbage containers
  • Power wash the shop floor as required
  • Organize vehicles in the parking lot daily, including keys, floor mats, and RO signs

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use selected vendor materials and general supplies efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued learning through training and development
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift in excess of 50lbs
