Cogeco Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead to join our Employee Experience team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage HR-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment and collaboration through each project.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and facilitate regular project meetings, provide updates and address any issues or risks that arise.
- Leverage people data analytics to provide insightful recommendations and drive informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to harmonize HR policies, procedures, and processes across Canada and the USA.
- Design, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements.
- Promote and support a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything that we do.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5+ years of HR experience as a Generalist, Business Partner, and/or HR Projects Specialist or Advisor.
- Experience with using Google suite and HRIS (Workday) is an asset.
- Demonstrated project coordination/management experience.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Federal and Provincial laws, particularly the Canadian Labour Code.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and navigate multiple HR projects and/or initiatives at a time.
- Ability to think outside the box and see the big picture impact of HR decisions and actions.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
