Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the facility's policies and procedures.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments, including medications and therapies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Participate in ongoing education and maintain competency with professional standards of practice.
Requirements:
  • Recent acute nursing experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
  • Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) registration required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Regional/Facility/Unit policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands.
