Cape Breton University's Department of Law, Economics, Accounting and Finance invites applications for tenure-track positions in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We seek collaborative candidates with demonstrated evidence of effective teaching and research in Accounting. A PhD or DBA in Accounting (ABD is acceptable) or a master's in Business with the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in good standing is required.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities, and service to Cape Breton University, community, and profession.
The university offers a comprehensive set of liberal arts, science, and professional programs, with a unique commitment to community, economic development, aboriginal learning, and research into many aspects of environment and culture.
Candidates will have opportunities to teach in different modes and locations as part of their regular workload.
The union affiliation of this position is with the Cape Breton University Faculty Association.
