We are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join our team on a long-term freelance basis in Halifax. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of new build housing sites and ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standard.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Finishing Foreman to work with us on a temporary basis for a year. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Finishing Foreman on new build housing sites, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities
  • To report to the Project/Contracts Manager on progress against the programme and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures/initiatives including PPE, Site Inductions, Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments, Work Permits, Scaffold/Lifting equipment inspections.
  • To adhere to the Company quality standards including Management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials/workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct, considerate Constructors Scheme.
  • To help keep the site clean and tidy and assist in the management of project specific preliminaries.
  • To coordinate the Sub-Contractors as appropriate and prepare assistance with the site progress reports.
  • To be responsible for the accurate/timely completion of site-based documentation and attendance at project and company-related meetings.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year experience on site as a Finishing Foreman.
  • Experience as a Finishing Foreman for new build housing sites.
What We Offer
