Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Empire Banquet Hall Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our fine dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Training and Development
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting
    • Fine dining establishment.
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
