CAMH's Complex Care and Recovery Program is seeking a qualified Clinical Social Worker to join our team in the Women's Secure Forensic Unit (WSFU) and the Structured Observation & Treatment Unit (SOTU).
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate Social Worker who can provide rehabilitation services, conduct assessments, and participate in the formulation of treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work, 3 years of post-graduate work experience, and registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the formulation of treatment plans
- Prepare reports for the Ontario Review Board
- Conduct assessments and provide individual counseling
- Develop and implement rehabilitation services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
The successful candidate will have:
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- At least 3 years of post-graduate work experience in a relevant field
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Strong knowledge of risk management and crisis intervention principles
Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
