Job Description:
The Social Services Worker - Intake Team will provide children's services and child protection services to children, youth, and families. The successful candidate will work closely with families, communities, and other stakeholders to ensure the well-being and safety of children. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing intake and ongoing protection services to clients
- Conducting home visits, assessments, and investigations as needed
- Developing and implementing service plans that address client needs
- Collaborating with community agencies, healthcare providers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum two-year Human Services Worker Diploma is required
- Post-Secondary education with child welfare experience will be considered
- A minimum two years experience working with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals and families and communities
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Vulnerable Sector Search
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Travel regularly and to act on an "on-call" basis
- Valid Class "G" Driver's license
- Access to a reliable, personal vehicle
- $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance

Working Conditions:
- The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines
- Must be able to travel regularly and work flexible hours
- Will be required to wear identification badge and follow company policies and procedures
