Montreal, Quebec, Canada Centre de recherche de l\'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Full time

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our immunology research group at the Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Our team is dedicated to investigating the complex interactions between the immune system and cancer.

Research Focus

The successful candidate will be involved in a project aimed at understanding the role of T-cell signaling pathways in modulating anti-tumor immunity. This will involve analyzing the function of different co-receptors, such as CD28, PD-1, and CTLA-4, in regulating T-cell responses to cancer and infection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on T-cell signaling and its impact on cancer immunotherapy
  • Develop and implement novel experimental approaches to study T-cell function and anti-tumor immunity
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to advance our understanding of cancer immunology
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, or a related field, with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. Experience with mouse models of cancer and cellular/molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.
