Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of 5-10 people and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be responsible for:

  • Managing cash handling and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms;
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback;
  • Costing products and services to ensure profitability;
  • Enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations;
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels;
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed;
  • Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities;
  • Leading and instructing individuals within the team;
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns;
  • Providing exceptional customer service;
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • A permanent employment status;
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication;
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week;

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards for a restaurant manager in Ottawa, Canada.
