We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Specialist to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
