Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate garbage trucks and equipment, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Waste Collection: Collect and transport waste to designated facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to the community.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reporting and Communication: Accurately report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors, and maintain open communication with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, DZ class license, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions

As a Garbage Truck Driver, you will work in various locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions.
