Truck Dispatcher Coordinator

BRISK TRANSPORT INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatch management, transportation regulations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate work records and logs, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch of personnel and vehicles.
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations, making adjustments as needed to optimize operations.
- Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with customers and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Assist with maintenance of communications equipment, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
- Follow-up on issues with work orders, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Keep track of shipments, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, providing accurate and timely reports.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, providing exceptional customer service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to relocate.
- Transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of dispatch management software and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
