Restaurant Operations Manager

Sushi Wara is seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Cost products and services
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
