Inventory Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at A-1 Cash and Carry. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize productivity.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Recruit and hire staff to support the inventory management team.
- Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews to assess the performance of team members and identify areas for improvement.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support inventory management operations.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that inventory management operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure that inventory management operations are optimized.
A-1 Cash and Carry is a fast-paced retail business with a warehouse and wholesaler operation. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
