Job Summary

Hurricane Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate with dispatch and other team members to ensure efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues or problems encountered during delivery.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, which includes cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation experience and a strong understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be physically capable of handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
