We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Children First: Community Child Care Network Society.

Job Overview

This permanent position offers a salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes planning and organizing activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience working with children in a child-care setting
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and certifications such as Child Development Supervisor (ECE level 3), Child Development Worker (ECE level 2), Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
